Got a invite this morning and went for a hike. Don't know the elevation gain but my legs were shaky by the time we got to to bottom of the downhill portion. 5 miles, lunch, a shuttle to the top and hiked back down to Muir Woods, 1.5 miles to car.
Could not have picked a prettier day, the Farallons to the west, SF Bay area south and east.
