Don't ever tell

a widow, a daughter, a grandson...

Get over, move on, It'll get better, better place

If you do, be prepared to get what you deserve, a tongue lashing

or the end of what you might have thought of as a relationship

Who cares what you think, or anyone for that matter

The loss is insurmountable, even if it isn't

as loss has a way to settle over time

But it is time that is so out of sync

physical, hard, cold, and lonely time

Take a reading from a widow if you are unsure,

you will learn a valuable lesson in love

Pain of loss is an absolutely physical experience

no less so than a car wreck that severs a limb

It's gone, you still feel the presence

Then things change very gradually and inperseptually

between hard crashes of this unwelcome 'new' reality

my birthday transformation
