I don't know, I just don't know. This is my second new baking project in less than a week and I don't really feel enamored of the results of either the pound cake or the pie crust. On the other hand, Joel described the pie and crust the way I was hoping it would come out! He said this pie crust revealed itself. I like that. Joel also said this pie would make a good gift at the holidays! Maybe. It was close. Much better than the recent TJ's, I used to love, and my reason for taking the plunge into homemade. I don't feel over critical, just not turned on. Maybe that subdued feeling is more the result of the surrounding pandemic.
