Three trails
I parked at the McDonald Staging Area on Redwood Road, to explore two short loops, Big Bear Trail and Bird Trail, at the north end of Chabot Regional, before heading up the McDonald trail to the intersection of Brittleleaf Trail, then return. All three trails had elevation and mud to accompany the sonorous rush of newly recharged creeks, and multitude of fungus and mushrooms!
