The first I noticed of the 'end of life' series was this heading,

"It would be a sad commentary if deathbeds were the only opportunity to say "I love you", or to let a parent know he or she was valued and appreciated. Hopefully you let your father (family member / friend) know that well before it was time to "say goodbye".
